SOJOS Acetate Cat-Eye (Handmade, Polarized)
The value benchmark for an acetate cat-eye. SOJOS actually uses cellulose acetate here (not injection plastic), the lenses are polarized, and the 90s-revival shape is genuinely flattering. For under $40 there is very little to complain about.
Strengths
- Real cellulose acetate and polarized lenses at a sub-$40 price
- The upswept shape lifts a heart or square face
- Handmade construction with metal hinges, not molded-in plastic ones
Who should skip it
- Color depth doesn't match a Persol or Kate Spade — it's good, not designer
- One size; a bolder cat-eye can overwhelm a very small face

Spec note. SOJOS runs both TR90 and acetate lines — this is one of its acetate frames, which is why it feels more substantial than its price suggests. UV400 and polarization are both stated.
